Inspired by the 92% of Black women who championed progress in the 2024 Presidential Election, the brand embodies a double-edged message: empowering Black women to prioritize their well-being while stepping away from overextending their emotional labor, and challenging allies to take actionable responsibility in dismantling white supremacy. With a growing collection of apparel featuring powerful, Afro-femme illustrations and plans to expand into handmade jewelry, ceramics, and original art, Out of Grace pays homage to Black women's timeless contributions to culture. Designed for plant lovers and industrial-style enthusiasts, this brand sparks conversations, inspires change, and reclaims space for Black women and their supporters.

Our mission is simple yet profound: to honor the legacy of Black women within the African diaspora who have been the backbone of cultural, social, political, and community change, and to remind them to prioritize their own well-being. Through art, design, and community, Out of Grace serves as both a call to action for allies and a gentle nudge for Black women to embrace inner peace, serenity, and self-care.

For too long, Black women and by extension Black People, have carried the burden of leadership and push for change that is fundamental to the cultural and economic progression of people who look like them, without spaces that fully and truly honor and appreciate their experiences, contributions, and well-being.
Out of Grace will be used as a catalyst to create more than products—we will create an ecosystem of belonging, healing, and empowerment. Through our art, designs, and messages, we aim to foster a community that sees, celebrates, and supports Black women unapologetically.
We know how isolating it can feel as a Black person, and especially as a Black woman, navigating a world that too often marginalizes and misunderstands. That’s why Out of Grace welcomes anyone—regardless of ethnicity, heritage, or background—who resonates with our mission and values. If you believe in dismantling white supremacy, celebrating Black creativity, and stepping up to do the work of change, you have a place here. However, it is essential to understand that Out of Grace centers Black women, their stories, and their experiences.
